Senior Pastor

Patrick Coneglan assumed the role of senior pastor in 2019, after the retirement of ACA’s founding pastor, Fred Needham.

Pastor Patrick became a Christian at ACA in 1985, when he was still at high school. He married Bronwyn in 1995 and they now have 4 children, all boys.

Both Patrick and Bronwyn have a Diploma in Christian Ministry, but their real value lies in their decades of practical ministry and leadership experience, including 6 years as the youth leaders of an inner city church, during which time the ministry grew from around 50 teenagers, to more than 250.

They then spent 9 years as the leaders of Equippers Church Whanganui, before moving to Brazil with their young family in 2013, where they learned Portuguese and planted a new church (Equippers Church Rio de Janeiro).

Today, they are excited to have come full circle and returned to ACA to serve the fellowship in a leadership capacity.
